Sinotruk Hosts Green Future Tree Planting Event in Kenya

13 March 2025

Recently, Sinotruk, in collaboration with its local distributor CFAO KENYA, organized the Green Future Tree Planting Event in Kenya. The initiative aimed to practice the concept of green development through concrete actions and contribute to Kenya's ecological conservation efforts.

On the event day, over 700 participants from the Kenya Forest Service, the International Tree Foundation, local government, schools, and the community gathered in the Kakamega Forest in Iloro. Together, they planted seedlings to restore one hectare of degraded land. Amidst laughter and camaraderie, participants earnestly learned tree planting techniques and methods. Through teamwork and coordination, they successfully planted 1,000 seedlings. These saplings not only bring new vitality to Kakamega Forest but also effectively raise awareness within the local community about the importance of forest conservation.

A representative from the Kenya Forest Service remarked at the event: 'Kakamega Forest is a vital ecological resource for Kenya. This tree planting activity not only aids in forest restoration but also sets an example of ecological protection for the local community. We look forward to more collaborations like this in the future to safeguard our green home together.'

Looking ahead, Sinotruk will continue to uphold its green development philosophy, joining forces with more partners to actively participate in environmental and public welfare initiatives. Together, they strive to build a better, more sustainable planet.
