Regional Rounds of 2026 SINOTRUK Global "Elite Team" Championship Roll Out

19 August 2026

To continuously enhance the professional competence of overseas trainers and after-sales service personnel, perfect an institutionalized talent development framework, and further elevate the professionalism of its global service network, the regional rounds of the 2026 SINOTRUK Global "Elite Team" Championship were recently held across Europe, the CIS region, Latin America, and Africa. Overseas trainers and service technicians from various countries competed and exchanged expertise in theoretical instruction, hands-on mechanical repair, and electrical and electronic systems diagnosis. The events served as a comprehensive test of overseas service personnel development while selecting top talent for the global final.

The European regional competition took place on July 7, focusing on mechanical and electrical systems, with a total of 10 participants. The competition combined theoretical presentations with practical assessments. The mechanical tasks mainly evaluated piston sub-assembly, piston assembly, and valve adjustment, while the electrical systems section focused on engine wiring harness CAN circuit measurement, EOL software operation, and controller reprogramming. Following a comprehensive evaluation, six participants advanced. Notably, candidates in the electrical systems category achieved perfect scores in the practical assessment, demonstrating outstanding fault diagnosis and on-site troubleshooting capabilities.

The CIS regional round was held at the SINOTRUK Training Center in Almaty, Kazakhstan, gathering trainers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia. The competition consisted of theoretical instruction, mechanical practical tasks, and electrical practical tasks, where participants displayed strong instructional delivery and repair skills. Ultimately, three trainers advanced to the global final. The event fostered a shared understanding of product standards and service protocols among service staff from different countries, building experience for regional service synergy.

The Latin American regional round took place in Mexico, drawing 9 overseas trainers and outstanding service technicians from countries including Paraguay, Colombia, and Chile. Participants were required to perform hands-on repair tasks or fault troubleshooting on-site, explaining their diagnostic approach and corrective actions. During the event, activities such as trainer exchanges, training center development discussions, and after-sales service improvement seminars were organized. This provided a communication platform for service staff from various nations and promoted technical knowledge sharing within the Latin American region.

In the African regional round, 32 local trainers competed across three main modules: theoretical instruction, mechanical practical tasks, and electrical practical tasks. During the instruction segment, participants explained core vehicle technologies tailored to local operating conditions; In the practical module, they analyzed and resolved vehicle faults. Ultimately, three outstanding trainers stood out to represent the African region in the global final.

These regional rounds closely aligned with diverse market demands, selecting highly professional talent and providing a platform for mutual learning and exchange across regions. In September, the 27 top performers who stood out from the regional competitions will gather in Jinan for the global final. There, they will demonstrate their skills, fully showcasing the professional competence and comprehensive capabilities of SINOTRUK's overseas service team.
